Welcome New Students!

Students are Eligible to register for orientation when the following has been completed:

• Accept admission in MyNevada
• Submit required immunization
• "Sign up for Orientation" appears on your MyNevada to-do list
• Please note, it can take 24-48 hours for the system to update once you complete the above

New transfer students are encouraged to participate in an optional orientation session. Orientation prepares you to get involved, get connected, and make the most of services that help you succeed at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Transfer student may choose between an In-Person or Virtual program. You will also receive pre-orientation materials to complete at your own pace during the week prior to your orientation date. International students are invited but not required to attend.
