The EPIC Lab provides exciting hands-on lessons in various engineering topics, designed for students in 6th through 12th grade. Students can expect to learn about one discipline of engineering and participate in two-three interactive learning opportunities. Lesson topics change every three to six months.

This particular EPIC Lab will be hosted by Dr. Yufeng Zheng, Assistant Professor and Director of the Electron Microscopy Core Share Facility and is for 9th-12th grades. He and his team will start with a brief introduction about Chemical and Materials Engineering, and then take participants on lab tours. They will finish the lab with a short lecture and hands-on activities.
