Incoming Freshman Change of Major

Incoming Change of Major Form -- Fall Freshman

Important Information

You cannot declare a minor or double major during this process. If you wish to add either of those items you can discuss this with your advisor during your initial meeting during Summer 2027.
This change of major form will close to incoming students on August 6th, 2027
Once students receive a device at NevadaFIT check-in there will be no exchanges for a different device, regardless of major change.

By changing your major:

Your academic advisor may adjust your Fall 2027 academic schedule to align with major requirements, if necessary.
The device you receive may be adjusted based on the college or major you are entering

It is important you remain in the major you want to pursue to ensure your courses are correct and you are meeting with the correct advising team to keep you on track for graduation.
